Position Overview:

This is a vacancy for a hybrid or on-site role at our HQ in Tutzing. We encourage applications from all qualified candidates, regardless of gender identity. As a guideline, you will be on-site in Tutzing 2-3 days per week for close collaboration and alignment. The remaining days can be worked remotely.
 
As we continuously expand and improve our Data Platform, we are seeking a Frontend Engineer (Angular) (m/f/x) to join our Product & Engineering department. In this role you'll expand our design system and deliver a robust and modular UI for our Data Platform using Angular and Typescript and object oriented programming.

This department is responsible for the design, development and growth of our Data Platform and are looking for talented engineers to join our teams. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing new capabilities, contributing to improving existing capabilities, and collaborating closely with senior team members to grow your technical expertise.

You’ll get to take ownership of:

• Developing, testing, and deploying key components of our Data Platform in collaboration with other engineers.
• Contributing to technical designs and participating in code reviews to maintain code quality.
• Working closely with QA and Product teams to ensure high-quality releases.
• Staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and methodologies relevant to our platform.

We’d love to meet someone with:

• 2-5 years in frontend engineering, focusing on Angular 2+ and TypeScript and applying robust object‑oriented design system and TypeScript best practices. Vaadin experience is a plus, not required.
• Some familiarity with Java (server backend) is recommended, but not mandatory.
• Background in complex, modular front-end environments using shared libraries, design systems, and modules with clear domain boundaries.
• Experience with test automation using tools like Jasmine, Selenium or JUnit.
• Familiarity with integration models and protocols such as HTTP, REST, GraphQL, AS2, or similar.
• Understanding of software design patterns and best practices.
• Good debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
• Clear and effective communication skills in English. German is a plus but not required.
• Curiosity to learn and willingness to ask for help when needed.
