We’re seeking a strategic, customer-obsessed Product Marketing Lead/Specialist/Manager who can translate complex supply chain technology into compelling, easy-to-understand value propositions for non-technical professionals. You’ll own the narrative, shaping how the market perceives Lobster, driving adoption of new features, and building a vibrant community of users, clients, and advocates to fuel referrals and word-of-mouth growth.

You will be the voice of the customer and the evangelist for Lobster, ensuring our technology is positioned as the must-have solution for supply chain. Your core focus areas:

Strategic Positioning & Messaging That Resonates

  • Develop crystal-clear, benefit-driven positioning and messaging that cuts through industry jargon and speaks directly to the pain points of supply chain and logistics professionals (who may not be tech-savvy).

  • Craft differentiated value propositions that highlight Lobster’s unique strengths: why us, why now?

  • Ensure consistency across all sales, marketing, and product collateral, from website copy to battle cards.

Customer-Centric Storytelling & Advocacy

  • Uncover and amplify customer success stories, turn real-world use cases into powerful case studies, testimonials, and thought leadership content.

  • Together with Field Marketing build a customer advocacy program identify and nurture champions who can drive referrals, testimonials, and peer recommendations.

  • Work closely with Customer Success and Sales to gather insights and refine messaging based on what truly resonates with buyers.

Drive Adoption of New Features & Versions

  • Lead go-to-market (GTM) strategies for new releases, ensuring seamless adoption and maximizing feature utilization.

  • Develop engaging, easy-to-digest content (videos, one-pagers, demos) that simplifies complex functionality for end-users.

  • Partner with Product and Customer Success to create training and enablement materials that reduce friction in onboarding.

Build & Nurture a Thriving Lobster Community

  • Launch and grow a user community (e.g., Slack group, LinkedIn community, or customer portal) where users can share best practices, ask questions, and network.

  • Host webinars and roundtables to foster engagement and turn users into brand ambassadors.

  • Implement referral and incentive programs to drive word-of-mouth growth and increase customer lifetime value.

Competitive Intelligence & Market Leadership

  • Stay ahead of industry trends; monitor competitors, emerging technologies, and shifting customer needs in supply chain/logistics.

  • Equip Sales and Leadership with battle cards, competitive analyses, and objection-handling tools to win deals.

  • Position Lobster as a thought leader through whitepapers, industry reports, and speaking opportunities.

Cross-Functional Leadership & Sales Enablement

  • Collaborate with Product, Sales, and Demand Gen/Field Marketing to ensure aligned GTM execution.

  • Develop sales enablement tools (pitch decks, ROI calculators, demo scripts) that make it easy for sales to sell.

  • Train internal teams (Sales, CS, Support) on how to articulate Lobster’s value in customer-friendly terms.

We’d love to meet someone with:
  • Proven B2B SaaS Product Marketing Leadership - 5+ years in product marketing, solution marketing, or product management, preferably in supply chain, logistics, or enterprise SaaS.

  • Supply Chain & Logistics Expertise - Deep (preferably) understanding of industry pain points, workflows, and buyer personas (e.g., 3PLs, manufacturers, retailers).

  • Master of Simplification - Ability to translate technical SaaS features into clear, compelling benefits for non-technical audiences.

  • Community & Advocacy Builder - Experience creating and scaling user communities, referral programs, or customer advisory boards.

  • GTM & Launch Expertise - Track record of successfully launching products/features and driving adoption.

  • Enterprise SaaS Ecosystem Knowledge - Familiarity with ERP, CRM, SCM integrations (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Salesforce) is a strong plus.

  • Data-Driven & Collaborative - Comfortable with analytics, A/B testing, and cross-functional leadership (Sales, Product, Demand Gen).

  • Exceptional Storyteller - Skilled at crafting narratives that resonate, whether in a case study, pitch deck, or LinkedIn post.

  • Develop and implement compelling product positioning and messaging strategies that resonate with our target group in the supply chain and logistics sectors, highlighting our unique value propositions.
Market Analysis & Competitive Intelligence
  • Conduct detailed analyses of market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities. Identify new opportunities for our solutions and work on positioning our offerings optimally.
Assets
  • Create and maintain targeted materials such as web content and presentations. Collaborate closely with the sales team to develop impactful go-to-market strategies that clearly convey the benefits of our solutions.
Customer Insights & Advocacy
  • Identify and develop compelling customer success stories that highlight real-world use cases while building a deep understanding of customers’ current and future needs to strengthen long-term relationships and demonstrate the lasting value of our solutions.
Go-to-Market Strategies
  • Develop and execute go-to-market plans. Work closely with stakeholders to ensure that all announcements are effectively communicated both internally and externally, and monitor the success of each product launch.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Sales Enablement
  • Partner closely with product management, sales, and design teams to ensure optimal market positioning of our solutions, while equipping the sales organization with effective tools, training, and materials to drive customer success and revenue growth.
Campaign Management
  • Plan and execute targeted, creative marketing campaigns, webinars, and events to raise visibility for our solutions with existing and potential customers.

Experience, Supply Chain and Logistics Expertise
  • At least 5 years of experience in product marketing, solution marketing, or product management. 
  • In-depth knowledge of supply chain and logistics processes, including industry trends and customer requirements.
Strategic Market Understanding
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute effective go-to-market strategies while translating complex, technical supply chain solutions into clear, compelling, and customer-oriented value messages.
Vendor Experience
  • Experience working with ERP or other enterprise software vendors and integration environments is a strong plus - especially if you understand how SaaS solutions fit into broader enterprise ecosystems such as ERP, CRM, or SCM.
Collaboration, Communication & Initiative
  • Excellent communicator skilled at creating persuasive content and translating complex concepts for diverse audiences, fluent in German and English, thrives in cross-functional teams by aligning sales and product goals into effective marketing strategies, while proactively taking ownership to drive innovation and deliver impactful results.
