Senior Accountant NL/DE

Tutzing, Metropolregion München, Remote Bayern
Full or part-time
Permanent employee

Position Overview:

This is a vacancy for an on-site role at our HQ in Tutzing (South of Munich), with the flexibility to work from home up to 2 days per week. We encourage applications from all qualified candidates, regardless of gender identity.

We are looking for an experienced and reliable finance professional to strengthen our Accounting team. In this role, you will take independent ownership of the full accounting for our Dutch subsidiary while providing solid support for our German entities - bringing stability, expertise, and long-term continuity to the team.

Ready to make an impact?

You’ll get to take ownership of:

  • Independent preparation of the annual financial statements of the Dutch entity in collaboration with tax advisors and auditors, as well as support in the HGB annual financial statements of the largest company in the group.

  • Ongoing financial accounting including account reconciliations and preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements for the Dutch subsidiary.

  • Preparation of VAT returns for the Dutch subsidiary.

  • Involvement in accounts payable accounting as part of a team for the largest German entity in the group, including reconciliation work.

  • Payment processing for the Dutch subsidiary.

  • Handling of intercompany matters and management of posting interfaces in a cross-border Germany/Netherlands context.

  • Expert support and representation of accounting topics for the German entities within the team and towards internal stakeholders.

  • Building and maintaining shared accounting know-how across both jurisdictions.

We’d love to meet someone with:

  • At least 5 years of professional experience in accounting, including experience as a sole or stand-alone accountant managing full accounting processes independently.

  • A completed commercial qualification or a degree in Business Administration, ideally with a focus on Finance, Accounting, or Controlling.

  • Strong working knowledge of financial accounting, account reconciliations, VAT filings, and HGB-based annual statements.

  • Familiarity with Dutch statutory accounting is a strong plus; experience with intercompany matters in an international context is an advantage.

  • Hands-on experience with an ERP system; DATEV knowledge is a plus, particularly for payment processing.

  • Good to very good Excel skills.

  • A structured, accurate, and independent working style — with high reliability and a strong sense of responsibility.

  • A pragmatic, resilient personality with clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively in an international team.

  • A genuine interest in a stable, long-term collaboration.

  • German: very good to fluent; English: very good; Dutch: a welcome plus.

You can look forward to:

  • A modern, spacious office with a view of Lake Starnberg in Tutzing

  • Subsidised lunches in our in-house restaurant

  • A personal learning and development budget

  • Flexibility to work from home up to 2 days per week

  • 30 vacation days per year

  • 2 additional paid days off on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve

  • Bike leasing through our partnership with JobRad

  • Team evenings every Thursday with refreshments covered by the company

  •  A company pension plan (bAV)

If you're excited about this role but don't meet every qualification, we encourage you to apply!
